The Municipal Theatre is more than a venue; it is the epicenter of Brazilian Modernism. As Lead Designer, my challenge was to create a visual campaign that honored its architectural and historical weight—specifically its legacy as the birthplace of the 1922 Week of Modern Art—while positioning it as a vibrant, living home for contemporary orchestra, choir, and ballet.

Architectural Rhythm:
I drew inspiration from the theatre’s iconic physical structure, translating its landmark presence into a bold, graphic visual system. The campaign uses strong typographic grids and high-contrast imagery to reflect the grandeur of the building.

Modernist Evolution:
To celebrate the theatre’s revolutionary history, I utilized a design language that feels both classic and avant-garde. This involved a careful selection of palettes and textures that bridge the gap between historical importance and the modern performing arts.

Unified Identity:
I led the creation of a cohesive visual narrative across all platforms, ensuring that the Symphonic Orchestra, Lyric Choir, and City Ballet felt like distinct voices within a single, powerful institutional brand.
